I tried your suggestion, but it does not seem to be applicable. The program I need does run under XP, except it cannot print any reports! The software supporters do not have a work-around for this printing problem as of yet and they implied that they probably would not ever have one. The only thing I can do currently is capture information I need using Print Screen to Wordpad. Very lame.

I really need to downgrade windows for this one necessary program without (hopefully) losing everything on the drive.

Thanks for taking the time to reply. I had forgotten about compatibility mode.
