Jim: During violent swings the pecking order is dictated by size. The small and mid Caps must be taken down before the Big Caps. On the upswing the small and Midcap can only return after the Big Caps have gapped up more than 2/3rds of their losses on the way down.

In brief , it is likely that this week will belong to the Big Caps.
