Mike, you would have done fine. When I bought the stock, the offer was sitting at 21 7/16 to 21 1/2 for at least 20 minutes, after that it started upticking.
2000 shares at 21 1/2, and if you get out near the close at 22 7/8, it would have netted you $2000 x 1 3/8 -$60 commission = 2750 - 60 = 2690, not a lot, but enough profit to buy pizza for dinner <ggg>
I only sold my trading shares, still keeping my shares bought for positional trade.
INTC delivers stellar earnings, and YHOO's #s are very decent. I don't know whether the YHOO #s are good enough to offset the extremely heightened expectations prior to today, though.
