Springsteen wrote a song that both he and Manfred Mann perform called "Blinded by the Light". I think Gottfried is getting too much sun on that boat of his. And what is he really smoking these days? Who cares if the recovery is 6 months away or 9 as long as it becomes visible on the radar screen.
My friend the economist just called and claims although AG wont lower rates until the next meeting, he is flooding the markets with liquidity just like 1998. Results of this money printing are usually seen in a couple of months and this has been going on for awhile. He thinks all will be well and the markets will change focus from dwelling on ever increasing bad company news to future prospects and that PE multiples will start to rise again, albeit slowly. Mike
