I agree with Roger on this. What I find incredible is that 2 justices ignored the Constitution and did not find the Florida Supreme Court's ruling illegal. This should have been 9-0.

I can see their side with the 5-4 ruling, that they felt a remedy could be found with uniform standard set, but that would seem to be Gore's attorney's fault for not establishing the contest phase much earlier.
