Human social and psychological change is not a matter of math. Even other trends are not things that you can just figure by simple calculation. Many people have predicted disaster, and a smaller number of people have predicted wondrous outcomes, just by following a certain trend that for a time has had exponential growth. The problem with projections based on such growth is that such growth rarely lasts. Trends usually don't go on forever.

Actually it is all about science - and math is at the heart of everything.

If we are forced to not accept science and math and give equal time to stuff like Creationism, we will be competitively at a huge disadvantage when competing against other nations. In fact, I do not think we can survive - (meaning we will lose our current levels of relative prosperity).

It is all about the math. You just have to do the math.

The future is all about science and mathematics. If you go into economics, you will not get very far without advanced mathematics. The same will be true if you go into Psychology and the Social Sciences.

You can not understand the origin of the universe without knowledge of string theory and most likely you will also need mathematics that has not yet been developed.

We may not be able to predict exactly when we can eliminate all forms of violence, but we can probably prove that violence can be eliminated. All we have to do is agree that:

1.) Violence is bad
2.) Violence is not necessary

I think those conditions are there and the process is on the way. The exact date (when violence approaches the limit of zero) will probably fall within some margin of error on some exponential curve.

It's a no brainer.
