Yesterday while I was driving my classical music station switched to some NPR talk. The subject was Asperger's Syndrome, which was totally new to me. It's related to autism. Those who have it lack certain social "skills." For example, they can't make small talk. The speaker was diagnosed with it as an adult and had formed a support group.

It seems like one of the social deficits of people with this syndrome is a total lack of any grasp of pettiness. They just don't have the pettiness gene.

Somehow that discussion made me think of SI.

I would imagine that those with that syndrome don't gossip, either. <g>
