Just trying to understand the implications of that. Does that mean that three major operations will come out of the whole schmeer? Anglogold, DeBeers Diamonds, and Anglo American?? If all of that activity exits SAf there won't be much of a stock market left will there?

I realize these guys don't just plan for to-morrow or even next week and that anything that's not nailed down has probably been air lifted already but wer're talking about major evolutionary changes in the total economy of SAf here, and it simply boggles the mind what that means for the rest of the world as well??. Seems to me I read somewhere a figure of more than 40% of ALL economic activity involving hundreds of interlocking corporations as being the combined DeB, and Anglo share, and that was years ago.
