An alternate answer.
Kerry shot himself in the foot(g) when he attacked bush on no-show bama stuff. Folks want to know whats your policy, whats your belief and not what bush did when he was a teenager.
Same thing in reverse imo. And the fact that bush is not the one behind it matters little. Its the perception out there that he is. Republicans often got hurt doing that with clinton too.
My point is would we not vote for Lincoln if we found out that he made up the cherry tree story when he was a boy?? Lets concentrate on what these guys do when they are men. Even UW has skeletons and he admitted to about 4 dozen. (g) mike
