David, The most interesting people to listen to...are the people who have been victims of identity theft...... They take a social security number....and a name...and run with it. They can do mortgages....buy cars....get credit cards....etc. And the question is.......How can you prove that you did NOT make those loans or buy that car? In other words, as identity theft becomes the rage.....banks and car dealers and merchants must make sure they are dealing with the real Brad Greene and not one of the two or three phonies. How does a judge decide who is the real individual and who is the fake....both have the same government documentation......and birth certs...etc. And what about fraud? I charge up a storm....then claim it was identity theft. Hmmmmm Interesting questions that will need to be addressed.......I think we will find that there is a NEED for fingerprint authentication in E-Commerce. I think the companies know this....and are working out standards and building biometric templates into all of the next generation of cards now, even though the loading of biometric safeguards will be several years after the introduction of the cards..IMO. bg
