Santorum is finished too. Don't even waste our time pretending he's got a chance. If Dems only pick up one seat in the senate it will be Santorum's. 45% max for him. But I think dems will grab 4 or 5 Senate seats. It will end up a tie in the senate and Dems ahead 10 or so in congress. Maybe more. Might even be a landslide like 1994. Out with the old, in with the new. Remember 70% of the nation are ununhappy about the direction the country is going in. So rightwing incumbants are underdogs now. What will happen after that? Cheney will be forced out. Maybe indicted. Then Bush will either be impeached. Or be allowed to stay in power only as a lame duck, and punching bag. The only GOP candidate whoc an win in 2008 is one who stands up against Bush-Cheney. At least half the time. If the GOP nominates someone like George Allen they will lose 60-40%.
