David, their is a spirit world and the spirits of darkness in this world cause dif. things to happen and have dif. strengths. But, they all have to bow to the Name of Jesus. There are seven phases of demonic influence , the ultimate is multiple possession. Jesus can deal with all the states..we cannot. But, if we know who our enemy is and what to do Jesus delivers them.."but, only if they want to be " Jesus is the only one that could command demons without the persons agreement on the state of possesion. MOst are not posessed. It is one of the other states. the only thing wrong with demons is most times demons have little to do with it. So wisdom is needed. Castng the demons out of a flat tire is pretty stupid..just change the tire with a jack and spare in trunk. God Bless
