Hmmm... My first rule of investment is that there are no rules of investment. :) Each stock is different. Look at this one, for example. It's been around for years. It languished around the $1.00 to $2.00 and then roared to a high of $7.00 in the space of a couple of months. On the other hand, look at a stock like Netscape. One day made millionaires. I think the key is knowing that behind every stock is a company, and every company has a story. You do best when you know the story.
