Armin You can obtain a patent for a device that does not work as represented to third parties other than the Patent and Trademark Office. The PTO does not police that area (when the company is publicly traded, the SEC does). The PTO only seeks to comfirm that the invention is original or advances the state of the art and that it might be useful. Regards Kimball Corson
