also....while 0 rates keeps the US happy....in return...the US doesn't fight all that hard on the tariffs issue.... in spite of the so called "wins" by the auto industry.... all of that is tokenism for the real state of affairs...though I'd like to change my mind on this point.... you'd think the Japanese who figured out the concept of the world consumer in their product planning (before world software came along) could have figured out the rest...of what the west has been figuring out.... kind of ironic really.... read Ohmae's stuff on the borderless world product/movement of money.....
