You message about being obsessed with seeing Amazon fall is a danger signal! I followed
your posts long enough on the FORE thread to know that you are an extremely
experienced investor. You of all people should recognize that it is dangerous when one
becomes obsessed with a stock. Trade with dispassion, right?? Otherwise, you'll lose your
shirt.

Walter,

You are correct in all your comments. AMZN has just been a pet pieve for me. Actually, I do see the stock weakening during the last few weeks except during the revenue announcement. Obtaining shares to short sometimes is difficult. I have them now at a good short price. If I feel or see the stock climbing without logic as usual, I will go long against the box so not to sustain much loss. Then sell the long when the fall does begin to fall in earnest.

My obsession is is vendetta against an irrational market. Not smart investing but I do know how to protect myself in the even of a run up in price. I very much appreciate your input and cannot argue with the fact that the buyers could bid this much higher.

I would love to get inside the heads of those buying long. I must admit I cannot see the bullish side of the story which bothers me. I like to look at both sides and make an educated guess. I cannot seem to do that here but do not want to walk away. Stubborn<G>

Good night.

Glenn
