Chris, the tech big caps look relatively ok at this point.

Hoping people dont go on lunch break and start panicking like Oct 27th

SUNW, CSCO, INTC, CPQ, LU, AOL look decent.

Just a guess, but looks like a lot of people who wanted to get out of these stocks did get out (the big cap high techs) and now .. just as the past month or two people wanted an excuse to sell and take profits, people want an excuse to buy back in (plus end of year buying from institutions). However, Asia isnt giving anyone this excuse. Just looking at the relative strength today these seem relatively oversold for the very short term... (not TA wise, just "eyeballing"). However, any rally is probably going to be feeble and relatively short lived (over the next few weeks).

The 30 year bond is below 5.9% and where else are people going to put their money?? They want the 20% they are used to the past 3 years and are expecting from their dear mutual fund managers and 401ks. So money must go back to the mkt...

Notice I use relatively a lot =) Its all relative.

(i.e. 30 point drop in NSDQ 2 months ago was unheard of, now its realtively bad) hah
