In the last few days I have been reading all the Iraqi blogs I can find. For the most part, they all say that life is proceeding pretty normally and rebuilding is going on. Zeyad is back in Basra and it seems ok there. While many were upset at the Abu Ghraib pictures, some seem satisfied with the American response, some are not, while some are not very sympathetic to the prisoners in the first place. There is altogether a general lack of the hysteria one sees in the media.
