Walter, no ridicule intended. I know you were talking about a supermarket. My point was that there is no reason to expect AMZN to have an advantage over larger, stronger competitors in any of the non-price characteristics where an online merchant might differentiate itself. Convenience/ease of use? First does not automatically translate to best and the comments so far about Borders.com seem to indicate they may have learn something from the earlier sites. Selection? Not. Service, i.e. prompt delivery of more titles? I think having inventory gives the others the edge here too. My slightly sarcastic response was simply because I figured you knew all this so it needn't be said. Sorry. Bob
