After reviewing your most recent exchanges I think it best for me to switch MS DOS to w95 and stick with the booting from BIOS plan. This is based on the relative simplicity of working from BIOS. I certainly will have PM BM in the back of my mind and will be on the lookout for future discussions here on its merits relative to non-BM methods.

Still unsure whether FAT 16 or 32 was the agreed upon best format for w95 partition on my secondary drive?

Edit:
Sean just read your last post... I'll specify Fat 16 for w95 partition on #2 drive
