Paul, re >$650 million for the U.S. Commerce Department to distribute $40 coupons that offset the cost of digital TV converter boxes.< There are dozens of companies making those boxes, so the extra $650m will be spread out and I don't expect any single company to become golden. it also says >The bill also includes $6 billion to promote deployment of high-speed Internet access in unserved and underserved areas, considerably less than the $44 billion requested by Internet advocates.< I don't know how fast this spending will occur and how much will be used for equipment. I don't expect any company's stock to soar as a result because there are so many.
