Trev : I can't really comment on the global implications of the reorganisations which are taking place with the SAf companies. As you say, we will have to wait and see what happens.

Nicky Oppenheimer, Chairman of Anglo, said on TV this evening that the Anglo share price would do well with its new listing on the LSE. Debeers came out with a lousy report (as expected) but the shares are strong. I mentioned some time ago that I thought they were a buy.

Can't prophesy the gold price. Anything is possible. But, as I have said on the Dutch CB thread, I can't see a bull market of any consequence developing while the US dollar is so strong and there's no inflation.
