Situation in Russia’s market of oil products stable
MOSCOW, May 3 (Itar-Tass) - - The situation in the market of oil products remains to be stable, and the saving dynamics of prices of oil products is lower than the index of consumer’s prices.
As the press service of the Russian Ministry of Economic Development reported, this conclusion was made by participants in a meeting of the ministry devoted to issues of prices of oil products at the internal market.
The participants of the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the leadership of the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Industry and Energy, Federal Antimonopoly Service and other departments, as well as representatives of the leadership of a number of oil companies discussed issues of further maintaining of stability in the internal market of oil products, PRIME-TASS reports.
It was decided to continue the joint work on taking measures encouraging investments in the oil branch, in particular the production of ecologically healthy fuel, creating a favourable investment climate in the sphere of oil refining.
As representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development said, a working group is to be set up for subsequent consideration of the proposals put forward during the meeting.
As was reported earlier, Russia’s inflation in March amounted to 1.3 percent, while prices of gasoline in March increased by average 0.3 percent.
