If you accept that CO2 is a causal factor in changing climate, rather than a passive follower of changes being imposed by other things... what the data show is that CO2 drives precipitous global cooling...

The relative stability of life on Earth over hundreds of millions of years argues for the planet's self-regulation of temperatures. Humans, impactful or not, are just a near-insignificant pest that will be dealt with naturally. Too bad "Gaia" can't single out the kool-aiders for special punishment.
