One might want to look at the European numbers when it comes to Mac sales. In Sweden, MacIntosh secured all Government and Educational contracts. Every government organization and every University,college and many Highschools us the MAC. Should also relate that Sweden is second only to Finland in Internet per capita usage. The USA is 3rd. It would be interesting to note the Mac situation in other European countries. Yes we Mac users are diehards, but it really doesn't make a difference in share price. 19 dollars a share is pretty close to fair value. Current levels are still to high to be motivated. The fact that IE is going to be the "default" not the "standard" browser really isn't why GATES flushed money into Apple. Most people realize that. GATES has wanted a piece of APPLe from the beginning, and now that he has access to innovation secrets from the company, he is in a winning position. Let's face it. Apple innovates and PC copies. This is how it has always been, and it will remain so. What innovation secrets does GATES and co have that would be of any interest to Apple techs. IMO none. So GATES wins by getting in the door. Netscape may be ugly as sin, but I enjoy using it alot more then IE. IE does however crash less on my system. I would be interested in testing Apples browser and also Computer Concepts Corp(CCEE) d.b express which I have read about. Sounds like a next step browser.
