MMK (and anyone with the lockup problem) -

Problem - Computer locks up tight when disconnecting (probably using Dial-Up Networking)

Solution -

(You'll probably need to be disconnected from the net to do this)

- Go to Start -> Find -> Files or Folders
- Look for vnbt.386
- It will be in you Windows\System (and possibly in Sysbckup if you have one)
- Rename (right-click on the file and select rename) the file to something like "vnbt386.old". (You can also move the file out of the System directory to a temporary folder).
- Reboot
- All set. Give it a try.

I had this problem in the past and this fixed it.

Good luck.

llater,
Tony B
