AJ Sorry that didn't answer your question at all. Have you seen Anand's page? He has a pretty good discussion of AGP. I haven't read it all, so I don't know how far it goes. anandtech.com Then, Tom's Hardware Page has a similar section on AGP: www1.tomshardware.com Both sites have reviews of individual items like accelerator cards and MB's and cpu's, that might be enlightening. Also, there is this low-level benchmarking site: intelligentfirm.com People have sent in the benchmark results on their systems and he (the guy who put the site together) comments on them. He notes frequently the lousy video scores with the AMD processors. I don't know if this adds any insight for you.
