Robert, Re: "Intel will have to move all of the Alpha, StrongARM (DEC embedded processor) and all of their networking chips over to the new equipment ... Doesn't sound like an easy task or all that cheap either." My "educated guess" is that DEC has second sources for all their chips but the Alpha ... the Alpha probably needs a very high speed process. This one chip could be "ported" over to the Intel .25um process without too much trouble/cost. I don't think in any of the announcements that I read said anything about Intel supporting DEC's other chip needs. Make It So, Yousef
