i understand full well, but this is not something anyone in power in israel would ever agree to -- even in the slightest. i don't think anyone but obama thinks the topic is worth wasting time over. the vast majority of american voters and americans, once they had the idea/concept explained to them, would find the concept unworkable and ridiculous. they would reject the idea too. the us congress does not agree with right of return, and that should be comforting no matter how silly obama would be to push such an idea. if the palestinians are really pushing for it, they are pushing against a wall that will never move. might as well not come to the bargaining table with a demand like that.
