This is S. CA's third housing bubble in 30 years. Like the stock market, when a real estate bubble bursts, the selling becomes extreme and the bottom is overshot. When that happens, there are always people with money waiting to buy up. Investors in S. CA are particularly savvy to this process. They determined that a bottom was at hand and are acting accordingly.

In fact, KBH, a CA builder and one I own, has been responding nicely to yesterday's report.
