I bet they even donated a few of the junked cars.


I bet they donated all of them, if unintentionally. Car theft rings have been a big business in the PA since 1994.

Correct me if I'm wrong somebody, but cars are not as I understand it, much of an impediment to a tank. So why is Arafat doing this? Ringing his headquarters with people would be much more effective. But I understand that the pro-Arafat demonstrations one sees are not exactly staffed entirely by volunteers, and he probably understands that he can't keep one going for that long.
