McMannic - Re: "Dell has already benefited indirectly from AMD pricing...but if the product (K7) is seen to be better, pricing won't be enough to maintain market share." The scenario you are describing would only work if AMD peddled the K7 for about $100 to Compaq and other Dell competitors. I can't wait for this to happen - especially at a die size of 184 sq. mm., special chip sets required, special motherboards, etc. Paul
