I absolutely agree with you about BOClean. I've used it for 2 years with no trojan problems. Also had Trojan Hunter, but it's a real resource hog and really slowed down my laptop (Pentium 2.2 MgH with 1 meg of ram running WIN XP Pro... without SP2 (VBG)). Didn't notice the speed change until I tried to upgrade to the new version of Trojan Hunter which totally fouled-up my computer. I uninstalled it completely and used JV16 PowerTools to clean up any remnants in the registry and also file remnants and links and continue to use BOClean. One of the big advantages of BOClean is the automatic daily updates [you don't have to remember to update... a little window pops-up (happily not stopped by pop-up blocker in Zone Alarm Pro)!]. Another major factor for me is the great service from the company's owner... you can use it on all the computers in your immediately family in your house and your children can also use your copy if they are away at school. The only possible disadvantage with BOClean is that it doesn't use a scanner. You can read about it on their website nsclean.com ... and no... I have no relationship with BOClean other than being a happy user.

Also finally got rid of Norton Antivirus 2004 and installed NOD32 as my antivirus. It seems much more sophisticated, uses far less resources, updates automatically and their service is great. E-mailed a question and got a telephone response in a few hours. Not only was there no "support" charge, but the tech spent 1/2 an hour on the phone with me setting up the entire program and explaining it to me. If you check it out you'll find the reviews say it's much more effective than Norton.
