Part of the agenda for TUO Our field season kicks off in May-June, when Bell Resources is expected to return to the Granduc area for a major 2007 drill program aimed at defining and expanding the 4km long Besshi copper-sulfide system traversing its core Granduc holdings north onto Teuton's adjoining Leduc Silver property. Size of the overall program has not yet been announced but Teuton has been told further drilling will take place in and around the Company's JK copper zone. • Next month, in June-July, Sabina Silver begins work on the Midas property followingup an excellent bulk tonnage type gold target discovered by drilling in 2005. More details will be announced when available. • In July, Teuton and related company Silver Grail will mobilize to the Fiji property, adjoining due west of the exciting Homestake Ridge gold discovery of Bravo Ventures. Bravo has indicated it will carry out a multi-rig drill program in an attempt to expand a recently announced 900,000 ounce gold reserve. Teuton and Silver Grail have budgeted $1 million to surface evaluate and drill test two separate high-grade gold showings discovered by grass roots prospecting in 2006. • Also in July, Teuton plans to return to what was once its flagship property at Treaty Creek, adjoining north of the emerging 20 million gold ounce Sulphurets camp of Seabridge Gold and Silver Standard. A minimum of two targets will be tested by drilling. The first involves high-grade silver showings recently exposed by retreating ice in the GR2 area, the second a Sulphurets type, bulk tonnage gold target in the Eureka-Central Gossan area. Alternatively, the Treaty Creek property may be the subject of an option agreement (parties have recently expressed interest), however in such case one of the terms of such option would undoubtedly entail a major program in 2007. • Teuton also plans to drill its Orion property located west of the Frank Mackie Glacier. This prospect features an Eskay-type target featuring gold-rich arsenopyrite veinlets hosted within a glassy, black rhyolite. It has never been drilled before and is considered to be an outstanding “wildcat”. • Prospecting, particularly of zones of glacial meltback, will also take place during the 2007 field season. Any attractive targets defined by such work could also feasibly be drilled, dependent upon the lateness of the season and drill availability. *Note: Estimated start-up dates, size and scope of programs are all subject to change |
