Ed, thanks for the response. Personally, I like CENTURA's product very much ( I'm a Centura's developer and also experienced in using Powerbuilder, Visual Basic ). Centra vs Powerbuilder: Centra is more powerful, robust and sophisticated, Powerbuilder is easy to use, IMHO. Like someone said, CADEs( client-server application development environments) industry is very crowded. There are many competitions, such as Visual Basic, Powerbuilder, Delphi, Uniface, Forte, Oracle's Developer/2000 etc. Visual Basic, Powerbuiler, and Delphi are at the low-end of market while FORTE is at high-end. CENTURA is at midrange close to high end. Some analysts consider this position is hard for CENTURA to compete in the industry. Their market has indeed been shrinking especially in US for the last five years. The review on Centura team developer has been good though.
