to answer part of your question: Is NN involved w. short campaign?
I would say categorically and emphatically NOT. He believes
completely in his point of view and just iterated it
when interviewed by Bloomberg.

Is it possible that the reporter got a call from someone who said somethng
like "I've just heard an incredible story.... etc.etc. Check it
out, call AZBOM: they know all about these guys." An approach
like that would give the AZBOM comments even more weight and help
with a wholly negative editorial slant. That's possible but i am only
guessing.
