Management compensation is heavily weighted these days towards options. Thus when an exec needs to buy a home ... or this time of year pay for college ... and their kids tend to go to expensive schools ... they sell some of their options. As long as they don't sell most of their options I don't think it means a thing. IMHO anyway.
