I looked at the insider sales. I am no expert, but it looks to me like he was just trying, like Patricia Russo, the VP who sold around the same times, to lock in some option profits. You can see that they peaked a little above $100 at the beginning of this year and have been dropping since. The insiders have probably anticipated the bear market and locked in money that is part of their compensation. They always exercised the options and then sold them. Given the gloom and doom forecasts that some people have had during our peak markets, "a good thing can't last forever", they were just protecting their income. The insiders probably also knew that there were some problems which might jeopardize their bottom line predictions, like PCC, and hedged their bets.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it. For now.
