<They'd better have more convincing clinical results to back their claims than the people at Quigley did.>

I agree, and the first study probably wouldn't convince some pharmaceutical companies to get behind Zicam. GumTech characterizes the first study as testing a product whereas they characterize the second study as testing science. This may have contributed to the decline in the stock after the news of Zicam was released in January. I don't see the same circumstance with the second clinical studies. If they come back as conclusive as the first study (p < 0.001) or anything better than p < 0.05, I think the medical community will be convinced and that a rally in the stock will be sustained. The only flaw that I can find in the first study is that they don't know if the subjects were actually infected with a rhinovirus. Still, the results of that study are too compelling to discount completely and I am confident that it will be published soon.

I really don't care for the feud that has developed between me and others here. I will make an effort in the future to avoid confrontations, and in return, only ask that Bill makes an effort to avoid his daily jabs at GumTech. If he is mature and isn't playing a game with me, he will honor this request.

Thanks,
Dan
