First of all, I have some experience in the entertainment field and being "on camera", but not as much as Mark Haines for example... I have worked with some famous rock groups, and my classmates were on the old live "Disco Teen" TV show with Zacherly (who was a monster movie host in the early 1960's, and then went on to become a DJ for WNEW-FM and WPLJ-FM in NYC in the 1970's), and several of my former "significant others" were models and did some TV, etc, etc, etc, so I'm pretty familiar with the media scene and all that jazz, and I do some taping for radio personalities. Used to take DJ's backstage to interview certain people, I did all kinds of different things with some famous and not so famous people in the 1970's and 1980's... Mark Haines is alright, and I have already said so previously here before in the string. I respect the guy, and even think he is funny sometimes, but will still point out certain things I find interesting. As you may or may not know, I believe that we all take ourselves much too seriously these days, and we tend to get our feelings hurt more than is healthy for our mind and souls... <g> Yogi, rambling on here. |
