Perhaps this is a bit too naive, but I would assume that all development platforms and GUI's have some bugs, regardless of who develops them. I have never seen a software program that is totally bug free, or without some minor problems. I assume this is also true in the RTOS world.

Instead of focusing on the aspects of tornado that don't work, wouldn't it be more helpful to understand the various strategies that the other RTOS vendors are pursuing? For example, what are the INTS, MWAR, and QNX equivalent to TORNADO? Do their programs work equally well?

More importantly, for all the focus that's been drawn to MSFT on this thread, do they have any TORNADO type software in the works to link to their RTOS? This seems to be the key to ultimately gaining the RTOS royalties that every one of the vendors is after.

This type of comparison, sort of an analysis of the current playing field, would be quite helpful. Thanks for your help.
