Perhaps, but one volcano eruption can put more "pollution" into our skies than we can

Volcanoes may put pollution out at a high rate for a short time, but the constant day after day after day pollution that we put out dwarfs the volcanoes in total amount. It's not really relevant to think that if we can't control every source of greenhouse gas that we shouldn't bother with those we can control. That logical fallacy is usually termed Making the perfect into the enemy of the good.
