One of the many hero’s that day was Rick Rescorla, head of security for Morgan Stanley. Ever since the first bombing at the WTC in 1993, he had predicted another attack. He drilled his people over and over and when the planes hit, he got nearly all of the 2,700 employees out. Only 13, including Rescorla, died.

He wasn’t having any of the Port Authority Police directing people to stay at their desks.
