I recall that the taliban destroyed those statues, but that is a far cry from the attacks the islamic terrorists have made on Christians, and Jews. Since the koran says that all those that are not muslims, are infidels, they are being too selective in their targets. I think that part of it, is that both America, and Israel, have economies that, not considering oil revenue, are far better than they could ever expect to achieve.
