You say that the fact that Steve Jobs hasn't trumpeted any minor improvement in market share means that it hasn't happened. (This of course being based on your not-necessarily-valid assumption that he would make an announcement like "We've gone from 2.4% to 2.8% market share!" How stupid would that sound?) So the lack of an announcement by Apple is proof there is no market share improvement, even a small one. But you won't believe that they have reached 5% until someone other than Apple says it. What kind of thinking is that? - Allen
