Yeah.. I'm not sure exactly what happened in that case. But one thing I can guarantee you of... If 25 guys had forcibly engaged in sex with her, she wouldn't have been treated and released by the hospital. It sounds like they probably made her engage in oral acts and she may have, given her mental condition, acquiesed to it. I can see the lawyers lining up now with arguments.. "My client had no idea that the young lady was mentally challenged... He thought that she was engaging in sex acts of her own free will.... " Yeah, if this had been a violent gang rape, I'm sure she would not have been released right after treatment. Not that it lessens the severity of the crime, IMO. Regards, Ron
