I had thought they were the standard Islamic Socialists. The more they come out of the closet the more they will be. Notice this guy does not mention the trumped up Ergenekon conspiracy, the use of Nazi-like anti-Semitic propaganda, the alliance with Iran and Syria, the hundreds of Turkish journalists in jail, or the creeping state takeover of the the media as opposition papers are shut down or cowed. Sure, the opposition is still allowed to campaign, but at a disadvantage, and who knows if there will be another election if the AKP is allowed to change the constitution? I'm surprised national review fell for it.
