assuming this little story is true, i don't think bill daley would be responsible for obama's speech about the middle east and israel. obama always likes to blame someone else for whatever goes wrong, and perhaps daley was just in the line of fire. daley was brought on to look like some quasi-business guy was in the white house. maybe i am slow again, but i don't recall daley having expertise on the middle east or israel.
