The whole computer biz in a sea of change.

I also see Compaq hooking with a major Internet provider ala ATT, MCI/Worldcom for integrated services.

Folks are going offer lower end PC's, essentially for free once the consumer signs up for phone,internet service similar to the Cable boxes today or the cellular folks etc.

Compaq is positioning itself to offer solutions from the very low end to the very high end of the market needs as Internet growth accelerates world-wide.

For example look at the yahoo/IBM deal, Dell is talking with GTE etc.

I looks for lots of such moves in the next year.
