Howdy Mars, I have that bookmarked, and agree many of those are burning through cash at an alarming rate. The investment world has now become understandably and correctly reluctant to throw more money after the numerous journals including Barrons confirming the death list. Since the recent two corrections (March and Sep-Oct) long term tech investors have been whipped pretty badly. Hard to find many who will step up to the plate. Agree, many of these companies (see Mars' "death list") are comfy shorts and are worth holding 'till their funeral. However, there are a few there whose technologies and recent stock devaluations may just make them interesting enuf as takeover targets or potentially attarctive enuf as to get cash infusion: DRIV, CPTH, and ROWE for examples. I decided however and was refering earlier to close out of SS YHOO and AMAZON which I may reenter again after Christmas. I did however pick up SPWX, ENTU, SDLI EMLX and a few smaller FO companies that I felt were priced fair enough to limit their downside. Time now to get reacquainted with the mutt. Nice to see you all. Re 30 thousand feet, no not the Himalayas I wish... just a place where they serve really bad food and breath bad air. Fly United all.... Sharck PS OT, VELO what is your take if any on the genetically altered food. |
